Shower screens require regular cleaning.
Use warm water, or a few drops of Methylated Spirits on a damp cloth, then wipe with a dry, lint free cloth.
Do not use Acid or Alkaline cleaners, or commercial cleaners that contain Ammonia or vinegar.
The best way to help keep your shower screen looking like new, is to follow these instructions. The key is to do this after EVERY use.
Wipe the shower screen, walls, and even the floor with a squeegee. Then wipe the shower screen down with a microfibre cloth. Keep a small dishwashing style brush handy for any areas that are awkward, or where soap scum is starting to build up. This will only take a minute.
What is toughened glass?
Toughened glass is about four times stronger than "ordinary," or "annealed" glass. And unlike annealed glass, which can shatter into jagged shards when broken, toughened glass fractures into small, relatively harmless pieces. As a result, toughened glass is used in those environments where human safety is an issue.
Spontaneous glass breakage is a phenomenon, by which toughened glass may spontaneously break without any apparent reason. There are several common causes, one of which is Nickel Sulphide inclusion. This is not covered by our warranty.
